In the morning enjoy museum visits in Paris with your teachers. In the late afternoon, transit to your LA VIE EN FAMILLE location to begin your family stay.
The beginning of a fabulous opportunity! Each student is placed in a family with a child of approximately the same age and similar interests. Students will be immersed in French language and culture while participating in the family’s daily life. Students may have the chance to visit a French school. A chance to see how the French really live, far from cliches. Teachers will be lodged in a hotel during the family stay.
SAINT MALO
Say “au revoir et merci ” to your host families and begin your tour of Brittany with your guide and private bus. On the way to Saint Malo, you can stop in Chartres to visit it’s beautiful cathédral. Stop to climb to the top of a château overlooking the well-preserved medieval town of Dinan. Dinner & hotel in St Malo.
SAINT MALO
Drive to Mont-Saint-Michel where you will visit the abbey and village. Spend the afternoon in Saint Malo, a coastal city known for its ramparts and pirate history. Dinner & hotel in Saint Malo.
HONFLEUR
Visit the D-Day Landing Beaches and the American and German Cemeteries to learn about the story of the Normandy Invasion in WWII. Visit the Bayeux Tapestry if time allows. Dinner & hotel in Honfleur.

Head back to Paris and possibly stop on the way to visit the home and gardens of painter Claude Monet in Giverny. Spend the remainer of the day in Paris enjoying the city or shopping for souvenirs. Enjoy a farewell dinner at “Madame Brasserie” the restaurant located on the first level of the Eiffel Tower, followed by a boat ride on the Seine river. Hotel in Paris.
