The beginning of a fabulous opportunity! Each student is placed in a family with a child of approximately the same age and similar interests. Students will be immersed in French language and culture while participating in the family’s daily life. Students may have the chance to visit a French school. Teachers will be lodged in a hotel during the family stay.
REIMS
In the morning you will say au revoir to your host family and depart with your private guide and bus to the heart of the Champagne region. Learn World War I history visiting Verdun and its war memorials. In the afternoon visit one of the world’s famous champagne caves. Continue on to Reims where you will visit the gothic cathedral and explore the city. Dinner & hotel in Reims.
strasbourg
Stop along the way in Nancy, and visit la place Stanislas. Arrival in Strasbourg and exploration of La Petite France. You must see the famous cathedral known for its Horloge Astronomique. Dinner & hotel in Strasbourg.

Morning excursion to Le Struthof, the only concentration camp on French soil during World War II. Afternoon visit of Le Château du Haut-Koënigsbourg. Dinner & hotel in Sélestat.

Spend the morning visiting the city of Colmar with its canals and the afternoon visiting some of the charming Alsatian villages of the region. Dinner & hotel in Sélestat.
BEAUNE
Stop in Besançon to see the extraordinary Horloge Astronomique, a symbol of Besançon’s watchmaking past. Continue on to Beaune where you will visit Les Hospices. Dinner and hotel in Beaune.

Enjoy strolling the streets of the medieval village of Vezelay on your way back to Paris. After checking into your hotel, you are free to discover the city with your teacher. Dinner & hotel in Paris.
