Enjoy a VIE welcome at the airport. Transfer to Paris and begin exploring the city with your teachers. Your family stay will start in the late afternoon.
The beginning of a fabulous opportunity! Each student is placed in a family with a child of approximately the same age and similar interests. Students will be immersed in French language and culture while participating in the family’s daily life. Students may have the chance to visit a French school. A chance to see how the French really live, far from cliches. Teachers will be lodged in a hotel during the family stay.

In the morning you will say au revoir to your host family. Departure by motorcoach for the Vallée de la Loire. Stop at the cathedral in Chartres, famous for its stained-glass windows. Continue toward Tours, visiting François Premier’s Château de Chambord, along the way. Dinner & hotel in Tours.

Continue to discover the Loire Valley. Visit le château d’Azay-le-Rideau or Chenonceau to see of the jewel-like smaller chateaux de Touraine. End the day in le vieux Tours. Dinner & hotel in Tours.

Drive to Bretagne, passing through La Flèche and Laval en route. Stop to climb to the top of a château overlooking the well-preserved medieval town of Dinan. Dinner & hotel in St Malo.

Drive to Mont-Saint-Michel where you will visit the abbey and village. Spend the afternoon in Saint Malo, a coastal city known for its ramparts and pirate history. Dinner & hotel in Saint Malo.

Learn about D-Day history with your guide in Normandy while visiting the Landing Beaches, Arromanches, Pointe du Hoc and the American cemetery. Enjoy an evening stroll in the port town of Honfleur. Dinner & hotel in Honfleur.

Drive to Paris and visit on the way the home and gardens of painter Claude Monet in Giverny. After checking into your hotel, you are free to discover the city with your teacher. Dinner on your own & hotel in Paris.

A day of leisure for last minute sightseeing and shopping in the city! Enjoy a farewell dinner at Madame Brasserie the restaurant located on the first level of the Eiffel Tower, followed by a boat ride on the Seine river. Hotel in Paris.
